ISDN2
is a digital service which works on the telephone lines, carrying
voice, data, i.e. the transfer of files at high speeds on the telephone
network. It has almost instant call connection and has enhanced
reliability with high transmission speeds. It minimises the cost
of calls and data transfer. It can be used for fax, video conferencing
and remote surveillance. It can also be used for remote network
access (Home Working) and as a back up to private circuits(leased
lines), and of course last but not least, telephone calls.
An ISDN2 line box has 2 sockets and can support up to 8 digital
devices, through a telephone switch. Any 2 of these lines can work
